RAW HONEY

Raw means 100% Natural

Collected straight from the hive; it is totally unheated, unpasteurized, unprocessed honey. It conserves all the nutritional ingredients similar to those found in fruits such as enzymes and vitamins which are responsible to help and strengthen our immune system. In heated honey, those components are partially destroyed in the pasteurization process (heated at 70°C following a fast cooling) (Benefits-of-honey.com, 2017). 

Raw Honey textures can vary but usually raw is Characterised by fine textured crystals, it made of bee pollen, honeycomb bits and propolis. Also, Raw honey will usually granulate and crystallize to a thick consistency after a few weeks or even months (Benefits-of-honey.com, 2017).

 HOW TO CONSUME HONEY

It is usually consumed to spread on bread, crackers and waffles, or dissolved in hot coffee, milk or tea with ginger and lemon.
